Membership:  Who can join?

>>  If you hold an associate degree or equivalent professional certification, or a bachelor's or higher degree, from a regionally accredited college or university, you can join the national organization of AAUW through the Novato Branch.  Qualified institutions are educational institutions that offer recognized associate, baccalaureate, or higher degrees and that have full regional accreditation (including two-year or community colleges) or appropriate professional association approval.

>> If you are an undergraduate in a two-or four-year regionally accredited educational institution, you can join as a student affiliate.

>> If life caught you up before your education advanced to the level required for the national organization, you can still join the Novato branch as an associate branch member.  The Novato branch will welcome any woman who shares the goal of advancing equity for women and girls, particularly through work for the AAUW Educational Foundation, Legal Advocacy Fund and/or Tech Trek.

AAUW values and seeks a diverse membership. There shall be no barriers to full participation in this organization on the basis of gender, race, creed, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or class.

If you would like to join Novato AAUW, or would like more information, use the Contact form on this site to indicate your interest.  You will hear very shortly from the branch Membership Vice-President, who will be happy to assist you and answer all your questions.
